POSITION SUMMARY
Act as the quality representative for technical support, collaborating with various internal teams to address manufacturing issues impacting global customer accounts.
Serve as the primary contact between Jabil Circuit and suppliers or clients regarding global quality concerns.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulate and uphold quality assurance plans and timelines for global new product launches, utilizing Advanced Product Quality Planning and Process Optimization tailored to customer needs.
- Assist in all quoting processes by engaging in initial design, development, and implementation stages.
- Assess and contribute to inspection procedures through the creation of inspection tools and instructional guidelines.
- Support global training initiatives for customers by designing and executing specialized training sessions for relevant functions.
- Establish suitable systems for document management, access, and review related to global customer accounts.
- Analyze all discrepancies involving supplies, internal processes, and customer issues, coordinating and monitoring the effectiveness of corrective and proactive measures.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of all documentation files; create effective systems for document management and accessibility.
- Evaluate all supplier or customer discrepancies, coordinating and tracking corrective and preventive action efforts.
- Engage in vendor assessment activities as necessary, promoting proactive collaboration with suppliers and assisting in their process enhancement initiatives when feasible.
- Collaborate with all departments in accordance with established Policies and Procedures.
- Provide insights and support for the implementation and maintenance of Process Improvement and Optimization, focusing on proactive strategies.
- Aid in standardizing manufacturing processes for global customer accounts.
- Offer technical support on quality matters to customers as required.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations associated with this role as directed by the supervisor.
- Follow all procedures outlined in the company security policy.
A bachelor's degree is mandatory along with five years of relevant experience; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
