Job Summary:

As a Commodity Leader, you will be responsible for leading the procurement of direct materials, developing and executing category strategies, and managing supplier relationships. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of sourcing activities and the achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement category strategies to drive cost savings and improve quality
Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and develop sourcing solutions
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sourcing decisions
Lead and manage local buyers to achieve business targets

Requirements:

5-7 years of sourcing experience in direct materials categories
Proven ability to manage teams and multicultural collaboration
Significant expertise in purchasing and contract negotiation
Excellent leadership and communication skills
