Qascom Srl is seeking a skilled Embedded Software Developer to join our team in the Aerospace & Defence domain. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of new products and solutions for space and professional markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test embedded applications, including device drivers for the Linux kernel and board support packages (BSP) for Qascom's hardware.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and streamline of Qascom's software repositories for embedded applications, including the adoption of continuous integration approaches.
  • Participate in defining and reviewing software architecture of new products.
  • Prepare technical documentation and software configuration.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in software, telecommunications, or electronics engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a software developer on embedded devices.
  • Experience with development of Linux applications and drivers.
  • Knowledge of real-time operating systems (e.g., FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS, RTEMS).
  • Knowledge of Linux operating system for embedded devices.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
