Job Summary

As a Senior Network Engineer for C4ISR Systems at Vectrus, you will serve as a senior technical advisor to the Commander Sixth Fleet N6. Your primary responsibility will be to provide end-to-end technical support for C4ISR, RF, and IT systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as a senior technical advisor to the C6F Staff N6, providing expert guidance in troubleshooting C4ISR issues and recommending solutions for issue resolution and system employment optimization.
* Collaborate with shipboard technicians, ship and staff officers, and other stakeholders to ensure required end-to-end connectivity for fleet C4ISR requirements.
* Document issues and resolutions using standard reports and after-action reports, providing regular updates to Fleet Readiness Directorate as directed.
* Provide on-the-job training (OJT) on systems for shipboard and shore technicians, mentoring civilian and government technicians as needed.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent technical degree, or 8+ years of technical experience in a related field.
* 6+ years of experience with DoD enterprise or Navy networks, with fleet experience highly desired.
* IAT2 certification for IA required, with IAT2 for OS highly desired. Windows Server, CISCO, and VMWare training/certifications also preferred.

Clearance

Top Secret Clearance required.
