Senior Process Engineer - Olefins Production

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our team at SABIC. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of our olefins production process.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.
  2. Evaluate and optimize process conditions to minimize waste and reduce environmental impact.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  4. Leverage technical expertise to develop and maintain process documentation and training programs.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in an industrial environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus).
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience leading or participating in project teams.
Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
