Job Description

We are seeking a skilled developer and maintainer for the test automation of various core components of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux and networking, as well as experience with automation and testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automated tests for openQA
  • Test networking and other core functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement QA testing and automation
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated tests
  • Review test results and report identified issues
  • Scale innovative processes and test automation
  • Perform related documentation tasks
  • Improve processes
  • Work on community distribution
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of Linux and networking
  • Experience with cloud technologies is desirable
  • Interest in automation and testing
  • Dedication to improvement and innovation in testing and automation
  • English written and spoken
  • Involvement in Open Source projects is a plus
  • Analytical mindset
  • Reliable
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Availability to occasionally travel internationally
