We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Jointing Superintendent. This position will be based in Milan, Italy, and will report directly to the Jointing and Land Installation Manager.

The ideal candidate will oversee multiple teams of jointers working on offshore and onshore sites, both nationally and internationally. They will collaborate closely with the Installation Engineering team and ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement method statements and other necessary documentation for site work, in close collaboration with Installation Engineering.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple teams of jointers to ensure timely installation of all required accessories, adhering to the highest quality standards.
  • Optimize resource allocation and tool usage to maximize efficiency and productivity on site.
  • Conduct site supervision, ensuring compliance with technical, logistical, and HSE requirements.
  • Manage subcontracted helpers as needed to support site operations.
  • Guarantee adherence to internal rules and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate sheath testing activities on cables as required.

  • Problem-solving and target-oriented approach, with the ability to prioritize tasks in coordination with management.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills and commit to self-improvement.
  • Proficiency in basic and common software tools, including Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and internet usage.
  • Fluent English written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently, including to offshore sites and international locations.
