Clinical Software Engineer

Ascom, a leader in Healthcare ICT and mobile workflow solutions, is seeking a talented Clinical Software Engineer to join our innovative team. Your Key Responsibilities:- Customize our medical software solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients.
- Develop and implement database objects, such as Stored Procedures, Views, and Scalar and Table Functions, in an MS SQL Server environment.
- Integrate HL7 messages (ADT, OBR, SIU) and achieve configuration through T-SQL queries.
- Work closely with analysts, system engineers, and Customer integration engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Actively support the implementation of custom modules and maintain developed integrations and reporting systems.
- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Document and maintain developed functionality.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and aid team members in configuration or performance issues.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Eye for detail, analytical, and able to identify problems.
- Customer focus: Striving for high customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience in full-stack design and development and familiarity with REST API design.
- Knowledge of the C# language and the .NET framework (ASP.NET Core/EF), MVC.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6), HTML, CSS, and one or more major front-end development frameworks (React, Angular, or similar).
- SQL Server.
- Experience with version control systems (preferably GIT).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented work attitude.
- Fluent in English.
- HL7 standard and in general Clinical Software Integrations is a plus.
- MIRTH knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Healthcare domain is a plus (with specific reference to Acute Care and Surgery setup).
