As a Virtual Reality Game Visionary, you will be responsible for leading the creative direction of our VR titles, ensuring alignment with the studio's overall strategy and goals.
About the RoleThis is a leadership position that requires experience in game development, having shipped multiple titles, or equivalent experience, with experience in a leadership role (e.g., Creative Director, Game Director, Lead Game Designer or Executive Producer). The ideal candidate will have a high-level creative vision, empowering the development team to bring their creativity to development in support of that vision. Use structured design principles to drive innovation and efficient processes focused on the games' high-level vision.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the creative vision and direction for our VR games, ensuring alignment with the studio's overall strategy and goals.
- Lead the studio design team, providing coaching, mentoring, feedback, and driving their personal and professional growth within the studio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define game concepts, mechanics, and features, and ensure they are implemented effectively.
As a key member of our team, you will be working closely with Reality Labs' various departments to ensure successful game launches and ongoing support. You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies, and identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
