Job Title: Junior Software Tester

Clariter Group, a multinational IT company, is seeking a Junior Software Tester to join our Test Factory in Rome.

We are looking for a curious, proactive, and motivated individual to gain practical experience in various types of software testing, from manual testing to automation, performance testing, and crowd testing management.

The internship is designed to lead to employment, with the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team of testers with diverse levels of experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual testing activities, including executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Assist in preparing test data and environments for testing activities.
  • Collaborate with the team in writing and updating test cases and test scenarios.
  • Support the team in regression testing and re-executing test cases after defect resolution.
  • Participate in setting up, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts for simple scenarios.
  • Help in collecting and analyzing test results for reporting purposes.
  • Assist in performance testing and monitoring system performance under various loads.
  • Participate in crowd testing management, managing feedback, organizing testing sessions, and assisting in collecting and analyzing results.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand functional requirements and contribute to testing efforts.
  • Document test results and defects correctly.
Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and the role of testing within them.
  • Interest in learning various types of software testing (manual, automation, performance).
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team and follow senior team members' instructions.
  • Proactivity, willingness to learn, and problem-solving attitude.
  • Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
