This role reports to the Production Manager.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the completion of testing activities in an efficient and cost-effective manner, adhering to contractual specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. You will also test products and systems, validating materials to ensure they meet pre-written technical specifications.

The work model for the role is on-site. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Technical Contribution: Supporting Engineering in product qualification with type and validation testing.
  • Test System Design: Collaborating with Test Engineering to design test systems for optimizing test materials and costs.
  • Support for Test Engineers: Assisting test engineers during routine testing of products and systems, drafting and completing test documentation.
  • Planning and Control: Following work plans in your area of responsibility, focusing on materials and costs, ensuring timely implementation of quality within target costs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Enhancing new testing systems (tools and equipment) to improve efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring quality and efficiency of tests independently, utilizing problem-solving skills.
  • Risk Assessment: Supporting risk assessments to guarantee safe working systems and implementing necessary measures.
  • Customer Communication: Assisting with customer or official contacts and communications related to test assignments or meetings.
  • Maintenance and Calibration: Utilizing standard processes and tools to maintain/calibrate instruments and analyze/repair faults.

Qualifications for the Role

You possess a high level of skill in reading and drafting electrical schematics. You have established expertise with the Microsoft Office package and an enhanced knowledge of legislation related to electrical hazards. Additionally, you are qualified in LABVIEW language and have a strong aptitude for cross-functional relationships with various departments.

Language Requirements

Fluency in both Italian and English is required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of CHF 80,000 - CHF 110,000 per year, depending on your experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
