Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect to join our Engineering Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure
    • Architect and design cloud-based infrastructure solutions using cloud services and technologies.
    • Implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, including cloud databases, storage solutions, and network architectural elements.
  • Drive Cloud Adoption
    • Drive the adoption of microservice architectures, frameworks, and best practices within the development team.
    • Design and implement cloud database solutions for data storage, retrieval, and management.
  • Ensure Data Integrity and Security
    • Implement transactional patterns to ensure data integrity and consistency across distributed systems.
    • Configure and optimize network architectural elements for performance, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with the Team
    • Collaborate with Scrum team engineers and product owner to develop and ship features.
    • Help the team to make our high-volume, low-latency backend systems even better in powering the whole product.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise
    • 5-10 years' experience as a Java Developer (J2EE, multithread services, web application).
    • In-depth knowledge of distributed architectures, cloud databases, and storage solutions.
    • Hands-on experience with microservice frameworks such as Spring Boot, Micronaut, or Quarkus.
  • Soft Skills
    • Strong understanding of transactional patterns and techniques for distributed systems.
    • Experience with network architectural elements, queue systems, API Gateway, and authentication systems like OIDC.
    • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
