Project Leader Role at Atlas Copco

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Engineering Team in Varisco, Atlas Copco Padova. As a Project Leader, you will be part of an operational team responsible for managing engineering design projects in accordance with national and international legislation, following our corporate guidelines and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and develop new projects to improve efficiency, quality, safety, ergonomics, and environmental performance for our customers.
  • Define timing and planning for every phase of new projects.
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader and Engineering Manager to follow up on project status.
  • CAD 2D and 3D design and creation of all necessary drawings for new products and updates of current products.
  • Update drawings, BOM, lists, and related documents.
  • Release manual instructions and spare parts.
  • Collaborate with other departments on activities related to improvement projects during different phases: Purchasing, Production, Logistics, Aftermarket.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management (min 3 years).
  • Experience in designing, castings, and machining (min 3 years).
  • Master's degrees in mechanical engineering or similar.
  • Specialization in hydraulic engineering.
  • Design with CAD 2D and 3D.
  • Experience with Solidworks.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to details and data analysis skills.
  • Problem-solving and team-working attitude.
  • Fluent in Italian and good command of English is essential (both spoken and written).
