Our company is seeking an Experienced Technical Customer Service Representative to support our Italian, Greek and Maghreb customer area.

This varied role involves delivering exceptional customer service as a tool to sustain growth. You will be responsible for the first customer contacts, providing excellent support and full solutions. This includes managing and following up on the end-to-end process from product selection to delivery of materials, including invoicing and any complaints.

You will be the first point of contact with customers, building day-to-day relationships while ensuring smooth communication. Occasional customer visits may be required.

The key duties include:

  1. Preparing and tracking quotes according to pricing guidelines to maximize conversion
  2. Processing and following up on incoming orders, verifying proper application of commercial agreements
  3. Collaborating with the administrative department to ensure reliable order fulfillment and proper invoicing processes
  4. Maximizing sales by proactively providing customers with product and service information to influence decision-making
  5. Providing customers with pricing, lead times, product information, technical documents, and supporting them in case of complaints
  6. Collaborating with the replenishment team and occasionally with suppliers in case of delayed shipments
  7. Coordinating shipments to customers, if necessary, cooperating with warehouse/carriers
  8. Monitoring daily reports and acting accordingly

This position requires experience of 5+ years in a commercial or customer service environment (B-to-B). A technical background or experience (construction or plumbing industry experience is an advantage) is desired. Excellent administrative skills and a good knowledge about international trade (import/export) are essential. Good knowledge and experience with IT tools (Office suite and modern ERP's); SAP experience is an advantage.

A strong command of Italian and English, French is an asset. The ideal candidate should have a proactive approach with active listening and critical thinking. They must be a natural problem solver with a positive attitude and excellent conflict management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team are also required.
