Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (MCO+I) is seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our Data Center Development (DCD) team, you will be responsible for leading mission-critical activities and ensuring the successful delivery of data center projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to Microsoft's safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain best practices for cost-effective solutions, drive deployment of global solutions, and facilitate decision-making to drive project success.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in developing mission-critical facilities, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple large-scale projects, with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-discipline teams and negotiate contracts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.
