Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Consultant to manage the implementation of procurement activities within our Rural Resilience Project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all procurement processes are conducted in accordance with IFAD Procurement Guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement process for goods, works, and services within the project scope.
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet project objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with IFAD Procurement Guidelines and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a first university degree in procurement, engineering, economics, finance, law, business administration, public administration, or another relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in procurement or donor-funded project implementation covering works, goods, non-consulting, and/or consulting services.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with stakeholders and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English and Romanian and good in Russian.
