Job Overview

STMicroelectronics is seeking a highly skilled Process and Equipment Engineering Team Leader to join our team in Catania, Italy. As a key contributor to our SiC Technology volume ramp-up, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition between R&D activities and mass-production fab.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the new Fab start-up, following equipment installations with strong interaction with suppliers
  • Acceptance, qualification, and monitoring of new tools, including building an effective preventive maintenance schedule
  • Monitor tools' performances in the production environment and perform troubleshooting on equipment faults
  • Create new strategies to improve process and equipment robustness
  • Define and perform Measurement System Analysis to ensure tool capability
  • Process and Equipment performance optimization to improve overall efficiency, quality, cost, and cycle time
  • Lead the team with leadership to company strategic objectives

Requirements

  • PhD or Master in scientific faculty, e.g., in Engineering
  • Experience in silicon processing and flow knowledge is a plus
  • Precision, attention to details, and good analysis skills
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Good communication skills and able to work in a team
  • Committed, Proactive, and Curious

Education and Experience

  • 5 - Master degree
  • 2-5 years of experience

Language Skills

  • English (3- Advanced)
