To support the teams who are powering this ecosystem, we have a global Corporate division consisting of departments including Legal, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Strategy, Human Resources, Central Services, and PR and Communications.

We are seeking a talented Junior Cost Accountant to join the Luxury Cost Accountant Team within the wider F&A Department.

Location: Our offices in Zola Predosa (Bologna), Italy.

Reporting into: Luxury Cost Accountant Supervisor

Contract Type: Maternity Cover

Workplace Type: Hybrid

Role purpose: The candidate will assist the Cost Accountant team and provide support in managing warehouse accounting, especially related to the Documental flow in Accounting System (Navision). The Junior Cost Accountant will manage the 3w-m, Payment Authorization, Vendor Master Data Creation, RTV, and Evaluation Stock by the warehouse accounting Load. The candidate will also assist the Luxury Cost Accountant Supervisor in managing the relationship with other areas, particularly with Operation, Buying & Merchandising. The candidate will be in strict contact with suppliers and manage internal and external reporting. The candidate will support the team in the monthly closing activities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor and check the Digital Production progress
  • Cross-check accounts and accounting documents
  • Identify and resolve problems linked to the administrative and operative flow
  • Manage periodic physical and fiscal warehouse inventory
  • Support the managing of activity administrative inbound (3w-m), in line with the physical and operative inbound
  • Manage attributing purchase costs of products entering the warehouse for all buying type
  • Record warehouse transactions for accounting purposes, about either purchased and consignment goods
  • Support in periodic and/or ad hoc internal reporting and managing the consignment reporting
  • Support in identifying process and/or system measures to optimize data flow and reliability
  • Support in the warehouse activity and evaluations periodic during the closing process
  • Cooperate with the various company areas involved in warehouse processes
  • Check the operative phase of the goods working progress and backlog reporting
  • Manage relationships with the main Luxury Partners
  • Manage internal and external reporting

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accounting or University degree in Economics
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles
  • Reliability, accuracy, flexibility, and discretion
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach
  • Motivation in an administrative role
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Knowledge of Navision and SQL will be considered a plus
