AWS Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a talented AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team at HERZUM.

Key Technical Competencies:
- Proficient in essential AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, AppSync, SNS, SQS, S3, Application Load Balancer, EC2, AWS ECS, Cognito, Parameter Store, Cloud Watch, and XRay.
- Familiarity with programming languages relevant to the AWS ecosystem, particularly Typescript and Java/Kotlin.
- Understanding of SecDevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices utilizing Gitlab.
- Experience with IaaS tools such as Terraform, Serverless Framework, and Cloud Formation.
- Strong grasp of Cloud Architecture principles, focusing on scalability and reliability.
- Awareness of SCRUM and Agile project management techniques.
- Knowledge of maintenance frameworks and SLA models.

Certification Requirements:
AWS Developer certification is essential, while AWS Solution Architect certifications are advantageous.

Essential Personal Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Over 5 years of experience in software development within an AWS context.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to foster collaboration across teams and navigate conflict effectively.
- Capability to work flexibly and confidently in a multicultural environment, especially in communicating and presenting solutions.
- Proficiency in English (B2 level); knowledge of German and/or Italian is a plus.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid model based in Munich.
