Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to lead our Global Coastal Ocean Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all research activities within the division, developing a fundraising agenda, implementing and monitoring research projects, and coordinating with other division directors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the division
- Manage a team of researchers and staff
- Coordinate with other division directors to ensure disciplinary integration
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders
- Strong focus on research objectives
- Consolidated scientific network
- Ability to coordinate and manage personnel
- Ability to plan, organize, and supervise research activities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Permanent contract with a 3-year renewable appointment
- Gross annual salary based on qualification and working experience
- Variable remuneration portion valued based on objectives achieved
