**Career Opportunity at MUSC Community Physicians**

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner - Endocrinology Specialist to join our team at MUSC Community Physicians.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position in Florence, South Carolina. As an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for examining and treating patients independently and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Your primary focus will be on ensuring proper illness and injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients and develop treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • Two years of clinical experience, with at least one year in a specialty area of care
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner specific to the area of employment (or be certification eligible upon employment)
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse and official recognition as a Nurse Practitioner from the South Carolina Board of Nursing

Salary:** $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
