Financial Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Specialist to join our team at Page Personnel. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Financial Manager in completing assigned tasks during month-end closing, preparing reports, and executing plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Financial Manager: Provide assistance in completing assigned tasks during month-end closing, including BS reconciliation, P&L analysis, and other financial tasks.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports based on the Financial Manager's instructions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Financial Planning: Support the Finance Manager in executing and monitoring plans, managing budgets, and reporting on achievements.
  • Team Support: Assist team members during the month-end closing process, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Process Improvement: Actively contribute to the improvement and optimization of business processes and procedures, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes.
  • Project Leadership: Lead or contribute to local projects to further improve operations within the finance department, driving innovation and growth.
  • SAP Implementation: Support the Regional Head of Finance in gathering requirements across the region for SAP implementation, contributing to the successful rollout of the system.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years of prior experience as a Financial Controller or Auditor.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of international and national accounting principles (IFRS, ITA GAAP).
  • Language: Excellent knowledge of the English language.
  • Skills: Knowledge of key processes within the finance department, with a keen interest in the implementation of management systems and the ability to work in a dynamic and growing environment.

About the Opportunity:

We are offering a part-time work opportunity with a competitive salary (RAL) commensurate with experience. As a Financial Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Finance Manager Italy and the Regional Head of Finance (South EU) on the development of a strategic project. This is a fixed-term position as it involves the global implementation of SAP, requiring active support in this important corporate transformation process.
