Job Summary

The U.S. Army Europe and Africa is seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to serve as the principal assistant and support for the DPW Site Manager in Livorno, Italy. The successful candidate will provide administrative support on a variety of administrative functions, including personnel management, organizational structure, and administrative services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the DPW Site Manager, including preparing information for TDA updates, training statistics, and other reports.
  • Develop and implement SOPs pertaining to various subjects and procedures needed to operate new or revised systems or controls.
  • Coordinate with Civilian Personnel Office to ensure personnel actions are in the best interest of the government and the employee.
  • Prepare and submit paperwork for personnel entitlements, requirements, and allowances for blue- and white-collar employees.
  • Utilize the Employee Management Processing and Recruitment System (EMPReS) to access recruitment and RPA data.
  • Use the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), AutoNOA, and FASCLASS to initiate, process, and monitor personnel actions.
  • Participate in meetings with management to provide updates on administrative and personnel issues.
  • Administer administrative requirements for the Directorate's Annual and Sick Leave Programs.
  • Manage and supervise DMC Housing timekeepers, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and track Directorate's actions in CGAT requiring GC's signature.
  • Prepare and control TDY orders, including computing travel estimates and maintaining internal accounting for travel funds.
  • Track all TDY vouchers and facilitate the timely completion of the reimbursement.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least the UA-03 grade level.
  • Knowledge of and fluency in the English language is required.
Working Conditions

The selected candidate will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 08.00 to 17.00, including a 1-hour uncompensated lunch break.
