Cyber Security Specialist

In Snam, we're committed to delivering energy to the country while ensuring the stability and security of our infrastructure. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in defining, designing, and evolving our cyber security posture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Align our strategic and tactical approach to cyber security with the evolving needs of the business.
- Ensure the correct handling of cyber security requests within innovation, evolution, and technology integration projects.
- Analyze and evaluate the adoption of new services and technologies for cyber security, identifying the most suitable solutions for protecting our tangible and intangible assets.
- Organize and manage initiatives for testing and proof-of-concept, as well as implementative projects.
- Participate in technology choices and their implementation, including the definition of platform/solution configurations.
- Identify and implement appropriate cyber security countermeasures.
- Identify areas for optimization and improvement, considering best practices and relevant documentation.
- Contribute to the adoption and application of industry standards, taking into account the technologies adopted or to be adopted, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Participate in technical tables and information sharing with peers, critical national infrastructure, institutions, and international standard committees.
- At least 2 years of experience in cyber security projects, focusing on cloud and multi-cloud, zero-trust, application security, industrial security, and IoT technologies.
- University degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent knowledge of English (both written and spoken).
- Knowledge of cyber security methodologies, frameworks, best practices, and international standards (e.g., ISO27001, NIST, 62433).
- Knowledge of security technologies such as EDR, SIEM, IDS, Proxy, Firewall, WAF.
