Job Description

Construction Manager Role at Leap29

As a key member of our team, the Construction Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing all construction activities at the site. This involves planning, directing, and coordinating construction subcontractors to ensure timely completion of the project while maintaining safety and quality standards.

  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines and budgets.
  • Lead and manage construction subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to company standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure effective communication and progress reporting.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company technical requirements, industry standards, and applicable norms.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet company standards.
  • Manage site facilities, including offices, utilities, and cleaning services.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of the project to the asset management department.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in construction management, preferably in utility-scale solar power plants.
  • University degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Good understanding of AUTOCAD and other relevant software.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
