Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Researcher to join our team in the Early Development and In-process Analytics (EDIPA) team, within the Drug Substance - Technical RD unit. As a Scientific Researcher, you will be responsible for executing scientific studies in support of technical programs as they progress from early development into Phase I/II and Phase III.

Key Responsibilities

- Build early-on the processes, tools, knowledge and engagement with the global Drug Substance organization (and other functional areas in TRD) to enable effortless phase I product and process development in line with the expectations of the business;
- Collaborate seamlessly with Discovery Preclinical RD teams to support antigen design and selection, to perform developability and manufacturability assessment for preclinical antigen candidates, enabling end-to-end Quality-by-Design and preparing for stage gate transitions;

Requirements

- Scientific degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field;
- Previous industry or laboratory experience;
- Understanding of molecular biology, gene expression and microbiology;
- Hands-on experience with microbial cell culture/fermentation and protein purification;
- Ability to apply sound scientific methodology and problem-solving skills;
- Fluent spoken/written English;
