Job Title: Scientific Application Specialist

Job Summary:
CAEN SpA is seeking a highly skilled Scientific Application Specialist to provide expert knowledge of products and applications to key accounts and provide clear technical documentation to clients and colleagues. The successful applicant will ensure the quality of final products and report customer feedback to the R&D Chief Manager.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert knowledge of products and applications to key accounts, with the goal of providing consultative scientific support.
2. Assist the regional sales team in the development of accounts to provide customers with the scientific and product support necessary to accelerate the sales process, increase success rates of product evaluation, and provide continued post-sale technical support.
3. Availability to travel to work in the field, attending meetings with key customers, helping with the evaluation of CAEN products and presenting scientific seminars.
4. Respond to technical inquiries from customers received by phone and e-mail.
5. Ensure customer service satisfaction and maintain good client relationships.
6. Produce technical documentation, including Application Notes, presentations, guides, and user manuals.

Qualifications:
1. Degree in Physics or Nuclear Engineering.
2. Excellent personal task management skills and a high level of self-motivation.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Fluent in Italian (written and spoken).
5. Excellent in English language (written and spoken).
6. Ability to: Work effectively in a group development environment. Problem-solve effectively. Persistently drive projects to successful completion. Available for international travel.

Preferential Requirements:
1. Italian as a mother language.
2. At least three years of research in Physics.
3. Knowledge of Gamma and/or X-ray Spectroscopy.
4. Experience in physics experiments.
5. Experience in integrating electronic instrumentation for physics.
6. Knowledge of programming languages: C, C++, LabView, Python, Java.
