MSC Cruises, a leading global cruise operator, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Transition to Operations Lead to join our dynamic and international team. As an IT Transition to Operations Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our digital transformation journey, supporting and improving IT operations processes and services in the field of Cloud technologies, InfraOps, Microservices, and support of DevOps.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the governance of IT transition processes to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Support the design of IT releases processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure smooth and efficient transition of IT projects to the operational phase, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve potential issues during the transition process, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Continuously improve transition processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness, driving business growth and success.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT transition, operations, or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience with InfraOps, DevOps, and Agile engineering practices, with a strong understanding of Cloud technologies and Microservices.
- Knowledge and experience of RedHat OpenShift, Ansible, DB technologies, and Azure Cloud solution, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English, with additional languages a plus, and strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a strong understanding of IT intelligence observability, release processes, and IT architectures.
