We are seeking a highly skilled Mass Spectrometry Scientist to join our team at Kymos Group. As a key member of our analytical development department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Design and Execute Quality Control Testing: Develop and implement quality control testing protocols for raw materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Project Management: Manage assigned projects, prioritizing tasks, and establishing effective communication with clients to meet deadlines.
  • Technical Documentation: Write and maintain technical documents, including protocols, reports, standard procedures, and certificates of analysis, to ensure accurate and transparent record-keeping.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and supervise the experimental work of technical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with GMP regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Biochemical Sciences: A degree in a relevant field is essential for this role.
  • Analytical Development Expertise: Proven knowledge of HPLC and GC techniques, with a strong understanding of analytical development departments.
  • Mass Spectrometry Techniques: Good knowledge of method development with liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry techniques.
  • Technical Document Management: Experience in managing technical documents associated with studies, including standard procedures, certificates of analysis, deviations, OOSs, CAPAs, etc.
  • GMP Experience: Experience working in GMP environments is required.
  • Pharmaceutical Industry Experience: Experience in similar roles in the pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
  • Teamwork and Communication Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Attention to Detail: A detail-oriented approach is necessary to achieve objectives and ensure quality outcomes.
