About the Role

We are seeking a talented Firmware Engineer with expertise in firmware development to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will collaborate with hardware engineers, software engineers, and product designers to develop and implement firmware solutions for home appliances electronics systems.

  • Design, develop, and maintain firmware codebase for the control and operation of electronics components such as touch controls, displays, LEDs, audible feedback systems, etc.
  • Implement features and functionalities according to product requirements, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of firmware to identify and resolve issues, ensuring compatibility with hardware components and overall system integrity.
  • Optimize firmware algorithms and performance to enhance user experience, responsiveness, and energy efficiency.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define and execute firmware testing procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

This role offers a competitive salary, ranging from €70,000 to €90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, we offer a flexible and dynamic environment, horizontal organizational structure, and international opportunities for growth and development.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in firmware development, applying relevant advancements to improve product offerings. You will also provide technical support and expertise to internal teams and external partners throughout the product development lifecycle, including prototyping, production, and post-launch support.

The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with proven experience in firmware development for embedded systems. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and assembly language for embedded systems is required. Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures, peripherals, and communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C) is also necessary.
