Job Summary
We are seeking a Turbine Specialist - Performance Optimization to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the recommissioning of gas or steam turbines after maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Guarantee the recommissioning of gas or steam turbines after maintenance activities
- Execute performance adjustment, site, and functional tests, and finalize engine settings
- Conduct thermodynamic evaluations and combustion tuning on gas turbines
- Perform root cause analysis of significant events to define the correct action
- Provide expertise to the Integrated Plant Support for second-level analysis, troubleshooting, customer care, and reporting
- Collaborate with bid engineering for support during offer phases
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering
- Skills/experience in at least one of the following disciplines:
- Thermodynamic analysis, performance analysis
- Plant operation, combustion on gas-fired engines
- Commissioning of power plant equipment
- I&C and control systems
- Dynamic parameters analysis and balancing
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel
- Open-minded, teamworking attitude
- Good analytical skills with an eagerness to take responsibility
- Good relation attitude
- Target-oriented, efficient, and quick, showing initiative with a sense of urgency
- Ready to work both in the office and on-site and under stress
