Job Overview

As an AUTOSAR Solutions Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, focusing on both pre-sales and post-sales initiatives across Europe. Your expertise in understanding client requirements will be essential in assisting our European clientele in developing their automotive software frameworks while managing the necessary internal processes for delivering the ETAS AUTOSAR Solution. Your extensive knowledge of AUTOSAR will empower you to conduct training sessions, facilitate knowledge transfer, and provide ongoing support to our clients, enabling them to leverage our high-quality, optimized, safe, and secure AUTOSAR toolchain for critical applications, including engine control units, battery management systems, and advanced network gateways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong, trustworthy relationships with ETAS' European clients.
  • Oversee internal project activities and customer support, actively contributing your expertise as required.
  • Conduct AUTOSAR training sessions and tailored knowledge transfer initiatives for our clients.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide insights on product-related matters.
  • Investigate reported issues by replicating customer environments, debugging software, and developing solutions or workarounds as necessary.
  • Assist in product demonstrations, pilot projects, and evaluations alongside our clients.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to comprehend customer needs and challenges.
  • Educate clients and colleagues on software integration and usage by creating and utilizing example code.

Qualifications

Required

  • Master's degree (or PhD) in Computer, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficient in AUTOSAR Classic.
  • Strong understanding of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
  • Familiarity with automotive MCU targets (e.g., IFX Tricore AURIX, NXP S32, Renesas RH850, Power Architecture) and associated compilers (e.g., Hightec, GHS, WR, Tasking).
  • Experience in C software development for embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of common automotive vehicle networks (CAN, Ethernet, LIN) and diagnostic protocols (UDS).
  • Understanding of ISO 26262 standards.
  • High motivation, curiosity, and a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Italian and English.

Preferred

  • Demonstrated experience in commercial support with a minimum of 3-5 years in a Field Application Engineer, Technical Sales, or consulting role.
  • Self-driven with the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to coordinate and lead various stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
