About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center CSA Manager to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for managing the design evolution, procurement strategy definition, and construction coordination for all vendors related to our data center projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage CSA design evolution, procurement strategy definition, and process promotion for all vendors related and construction coordination until commissioning is granted.
- Act as a direct interlocutor with customers, raising risks and possible mitigations or solutions to project management.
- Define, coordinate, and manage planning, economics, quality, and health safety for CSA as well as related equipment.
- Coordinate OFCI activities related to CSA.
- Develop and define project strategies, procedures, and communications.
- Develop process and purchasing strategy, and manage project and/or construction packages tender.
- Select suppliers and present to customers.
- Prepare technical dossier for tender, receive offers, realize comparative analysis, and issue award recommendation.
- Organize regular work monitoring meetings.
- Manage and moderate meetings with stakeholders, including weekly and monthly meetings.
- Prepare minutes of meetings and periodic reports.
- Manage cost control, planning, change orders, and billing follow-up.
- Manage and control commissioning of works.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Experience in construction management of critical infrastructures like hospitals or data centers (5MW minimum) or oil/gas plants for at least 5 years.
- 10 years of experience in the construction sector (projects and construction works).
- Essential knowledge of laws and regulations related to building construction.
- Analysis capacity for risk detection and ability to search and propose solutions.
- Leadership capacity to achieve objectives and milestone compliance.
- Collaborative and team worker.
- Good communication and management skills of multidisciplinary work teams.
- Experience in dealing with customers for reporting and decision-making.
- Essential good level of spoken and written English and Italian.
- Good level of use of Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Project/Primavera, TCQ/Presto, BIM 360.
- Experience in companies with hierarchical structures and internal procedures.
- Organized in analysis, structured in reporting, and transmission of information.
