Job Overview

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled EMEA Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the Product Inspection product line within the Production Process and Analytics (PPA) business unit.

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven professional to drive growth and profitability by building strong customer relationships, exploring expansion opportunities, and improving market penetration in Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.

Main Responsibilities

* Lead the activities of the Sales Team for Europe, Middle East, and Africa region to meet or exceed regional order-booking and revenue targets
* Develop and implement an annual regional business plan to enhance team performance
* Participate in project teams to improve business performance
* Resolve problem customer accounts using regional resources
* Apply CRM system to handle, evaluate, segment, and report on the business pipeline and activities
* Provide accurate and up-to-date forecast
* Develop subordinates' careers for future growth

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in science or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of sales experience with familiarity with science background preferred
* 3 years of people management experience
* Technical/Scientist background with broad equipment experience
* Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills
* Proven ability to operate independently with initiative and sound business judgment
* Logical thought process and consistent track record to understand workplace culture
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Languages: Italian and English, with proficiency in business communication
* Valid driving license

Travel Requirements

* Willingness to travel frequently within assigned territories and to headquarters, up to 50% of the time

Estimated Salary
$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
