Soilmec SpA for the Cesena office is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement processes for assigned goods and services, adhering to purchasing strategies and policies.
  • Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, ensuring optimal procurement opportunities.
  • Monitor price trends and contribute to the development of the supplier base.
  • Research and participate in cost reduction activities, such as resource optimization and design to cost.
  • Manage purchase orders and support other business functions in resolving issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an engineering company.
  • Knowledge of technical drawing, manufacturing, and cost estimating techniques.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
