Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our pre-opening team as a Learning and Development Manager. Reporting to the Assistant Director of People and Culture, this role will be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous learning and leading the implementation of both local and corporate development programs. You will play a key role in building organizational capability, enhancing employee experience, and supporting performance through learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement learning strategies aligned with hotel goals
  • Facilitate leadership, team development, and upskilling programs across departments
  • Lead onboarding initiatives to ensure a smooth integration of new hires for all levels.
  • Identify training needs through data analysis, feedback, and business performance
  • Champion a culture of service excellence and lifelong learning
  • Act as a strategic business partner to both operational and leadership teams
  • Identify and implement learning and performance improvement strategies that support the hotel's strategic direction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Learning & Development roles within hospitality or luxury environments
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into learning solutions
  • Knowledge of modern learning platforms and digital tools
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
  • Experience in adult education and adult learning concepts.
  • Understanding of People & Culture (HR) systems and how they integrate, such as recruitment, selection, compensation, performance management.
