The Data Science Intern will gain a comprehensive experience working as a Data Scientist within Boston Scientific. The role aims to provide an opportunity for the candidate to execute an end-to-end Data Science Project – from project scoping to exploratory data analysis to model building and model evaluation.
Responsibilities:- Conduct primary data analysis of our data.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the team to improve data quality and data governance.
- Apply a mixture of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to produce business insights that enhance customer experience and product offerings.
- Present findings to business owners and stakeholders.
- Translate business questions into data resolutions and stories for non-technical stakeholders.
- Background studies in Data Analysis, Data Science, Statistics, or similar fields.
- Strong knowledge of and experience in reporting packages (such as Tableau, Qlik), databases (SQL), and programming (such as R, Python).
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (using Excel, SPSS, SAS, R, or Python).
- Technical expertise such as data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques are desirable.
- Precise, keen eye for detail, and numbers.
- A willingness to learn and upskill constantly, curious by nature.
- Strong team player with a solution-focused attitude.
