About ION Group

The ION Group is a leading provider of trading and workflow automation solutions, high-value analytics, and strategic consulting to corporations, financial institutions, central banks, and governments. We're seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team in a Site Reliability role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain internal tooling and automation to improve service reliability, scalability, and observability.
  • Proactively identify and solve issues across the stack, collaborating with infrastructure and engineering teams.
  • Contribute to security awareness and protection, understanding how to fit these into timelines and backlogs.
  • Understand distributed application constraints and limitations.
  • Have strong coding and scripting experience, with a focus on improving programming knowledge.

About the Team
The Core Architecture Team (CAT) produces and manages core technology, methodologies, and frameworks that underpin new or re-engineered ION products. We provide internal and external customers with foundations and an open platform they can extend and evolve to manage solutions independently and with reduced cost of ownership.
