Job Title: Systems Administrator

Job Summary:

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Bologna, Italy. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and upgrades of hardware, systems, and network servers, ensuring the smooth operation of our global network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze system performance and take corrective action to address deficiencies.
  • Maintain and provide support for interconnectivity between EMEA offices and international locations.
  • Review network monitoring tools and identify anomalies on a weekly basis.
  • Update network infrastructure equipment and ensure optimal performance.
  • Deploy, configure, maintain, and support networking equipment and systems.
  • Document application or system functionality and ensure diagrams are up-to-date.
  • Assist with LAN/WAN equipment installation and provide support for Azure services.
  • Work with Cisco Switches, Firewalls, and Routers.
  • Conduct LAN/WAN analysis and ensure optimal network performance.
  • Resolve issues within the LAN/WAN environments and sustain network data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot Azure AD and Azure systems.
  • Communicate projects and priorities with global team members and IT management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related position in an enterprise network environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure.
  • Microsoft Azure certification (strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of network topology and remote access devices.
  • Working knowledge of virtual environments (VMWare experience preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
  • Availability to work flexible hours and travel (more than) 50% of the time to EMEA offices.
