We are seeking a Director of Housekeeping to join our team at Accor.

Reporting to the Head of Rooms, you will oversee the entire housekeeping division and its personnel. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all guest rooms and common areas are impeccably maintained, while managing the department within budgetary constraints and fostering a positive team environment.

Your key responsibilities...

Lead the housekeeping team to ensure our guests enjoy pristine and well-organized accommodations that encourage repeat visits. Inspire and mentor your team, fostering an environment where they feel valued, supported, and encouraged to grow. Manage departmental budgets and expenses, ensuring all costs align with financial guidelines while overseeing inventory and orders. Uphold high standards for guest rooms and public areas through established procedures, ongoing training, and regular inspections. Collaborate closely with other departments (front office, maintenance, and food & beverage) to create a memorable guest experience. Oversee relationships with external housekeeping service providers. Ensure compliance with all hotel operating procedures and policies. Identify and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Maintain a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and ensure adherence to these standards. Manage housekeeping supplies, ensuring all orders are tracked and controlled. Deliver exceptional customer service to both guests and internal stakeholders, building long-lasting relationships with suppliers and partners. Qualifications

Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel setting. Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and empowerment. Familiarity with hotel management software, such as Micros Fidelio Opera. A keen eye for detail, ensuring that standards are consistently met.
