Role Overview



We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team at Arrow Electronics Italia S.r.l. (fka Silverstar S.r.l.).



About the Job



As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers, helping them to choose the right components or solutions that meet their needs.



Responsibilities





  • Technical Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of Arrow's products, services, and solutions.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Help customers troubleshoot technical issues and offer practical solutions that meet their requirements.

  • Design Expertise: Assist customers in designing and developing custom solutions that meet their unique specifications.

  • Product Validation: Engage suppliers to assist with product validation to ensure that the products meet the customer's requirements and standards.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with customers and internal teams to develop and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

  • Key Point of Contact: Act as a liaison between the customer and suppliers, ensuring that the customer's requirements are understood and met.

  • System Cost Down Advice: Suggest mechanical solutions and techniques which can benefit the overall cost of the Bills Of Material (BOM) or improve availability of parts in respect to lead times.



Requirements





  • You must have a legal right to work in the country where the position is located.

  • You have obtained or will obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering related studies in 2024 or not more than 2 years ago.

  • Business Fluent Italian AND English (oral & written).

  • Sound knowledge of concepts in Electronics Engineering.

  • Good understanding of latest technologies and trends in the market.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, be able to interact proactively with the team and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to learn new platforms and systems with an innovative approach.

  • Developing of customized specifications utilizing 3D software like AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor...

  • Support customers' designers with technical proposals within specific macro-technologies.

  • Mechatronics & Mechanical degree are highly considered.

  • You must be flexible and have geographical mobility.

  • Creative, outside-the-box thinker who brings something new to the table and is not afraid to share those ideas.

  • A real and innate passion to learn new technologies, a strong attitude for new and different challenges, be the best in what you learn.
