RINA is seeking a skilled Carbon Reduction Specialist to support clients in the development and implementation of projects related to GHG emissions and climate change mitigation.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in technical activities related to GHG emissions, energy transition, or climate change mitigation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients in the development and implementation of projects related to GHG emissions and climate change mitigation;
- Supporting the execution of energy assessments, carbon footprints/life cycle analyses, and literature reviews on energy transition topics;
- FOLLOWING UP EVOLVING REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS RELATING TO GHG EMISSIONS AND ENERGY TRANSITION;
- Providing technical advice to ad-hoc queries from clients and internal staff as needed;
- Working in international, EU, and R&D projects;
- Meeting with clients, needs analysis, and collaboration/coordination with technical teams;
- Drafting and preparation of technical proposals.
Required qualifications include:
- At least 2 years of experience in technical activities related to GHG emissions, energy transition, or climate change mitigation;
- Passion and interest in learning and giving contribution in the energy transition field;
- Ability to write well-structured and well-reasoned reports, proposals, and documents;
- Very good level of English, both spoken and written;
- Knowledge of additional languages will be considered a plus;
- Availability for short business trips within and outside EU.
