Job Summary

Omnicell, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer II to join our team. As a Test Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing laboratory tests, analyzing verification and validation results, and applying statistical methods to ensure the quality and integrity of our IV Solutions products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design test plans, test scenarios, and test reports that meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Analyze test requirements and ensure proper test coverage is identified and/or defined based on requirements and design specifications.
  • Identify and manage the critical path of testing, overseeing test execution.
  • Analyze retrieved data and prepare reports applying a statistical method.
  • Report test results to engineering and management as needed.
  • Review requirements, specifications, technical design, and user documentation to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Work with the development team to identify and capture test cases and ensure version management.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure product integrity and quality control.
  • Participate in the ongoing development of Laboratory Quality Systems.
  • Help to define, improve, and implement quality assurance best practices.
  • Follow methodologies in carrying out routine tasks.
  • Maintain quality results by running standards and controls.
  • Maintain the status of tests and monitor the activities of team members.
  • Ensure that all health and safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of process and product.
  • May provide guidance and training to enable other team members to meet/exceed expectations.
Requirements
  • One or more years of experience in a testing environment and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and iterative development processes.
  • Accuracy and close attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical judgment.
  • Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals and realize value.
  • Clear and practical communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working experience with FDA-regulated, ISO13485, or other highly regulated environments.
Work Environment

This is an office environment with up to 25% travel to customer sites and corporate locations.
