We are currently seeking a driven Product Assurance / Quality Assurance Officer to enhance our Product and Quality Assurance team. This role is crucial in developing advanced nano-satellite vehicle solutions across multiple projects, ensuring that our spacecraft meet the highest quality standards throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support the Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) processes of spacecraft.
  • Engage in Customer Project reviews, including Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and Quality Assurance Reviews (QAR).
  • Manage Key and Mandatory Inspection Points (KIP/MIP) during AIT.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive product and quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Customize the European Cooperation for Space Standardization Quality (ECSS-Q) guidelines based on specific mission objectives.
  • Ensure effective implementation of PA processes in program activities, including conducting internal audits.
  • Handle Non-conformances, deviations, and critical items control, while generating quality records.
  • Prepare PA/QA documentation for program reviews, including Declared Lists, Nonconformance reports, and Safety Data Packages.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for Design, Assembly, and Quality processes.
  • Guide the selection and evaluation of External Providers, ensuring compliance with project-specific standards.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers across various disciplines to ensure streamlined processes.
  • Additional quality-related responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of experience in a PA or Quality Engineer/Officer role or a similar position.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Management, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering is required.
  • Candidates without a degree must have up to 5 years of relevant experience in PA/QA roles.
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, or engineering sectors, particularly in Quality Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with ECSS-Q standards and ISO9001, AS/EN9100 quality standards is advantageous.
  • Experience with spacecraft or launch vehicle control systems, particularly with Small satellites or CubeSats, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in standard industrial quality control tools and the Atlassian suite is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to manage stress.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
