About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C++ Software Developer to join our team at Siemens Mobility. As a key member of our Center of Competence - Optimization, you will play a crucial role in developing and improving software to optimize Railroad Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with development and research teams to enhance current algorithms and design new ones
  • Contribute to the improvement of software architecture and code
  • Maintain the current source code base
Requirements
  • Proven experience in modern C++ language (C++11/14/17)
  • Knowledge of Bash scripting
  • Knowledge of Linux OS
  • Education background in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
  • Ability to set objectives and work in a team
  • Knowledge of Java and/or Python is a plus
  • Passion for continuous growth and learning
  • Proficiency in English and Italian
  • Eligibility to work in Italy
