**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced ATC System Designer to join our team in Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing signaling systems for transportation projects in Italy and Europe.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Identify and analyze customer requirements and input documentation.
  • Analyze contractual and technical system requirements.
  • Define the functions, architecture, and interfaces of the signaling system.
  • Design and configure the system, developing relevant documentation.
  • Interface with customers and other partners.
  • Participate in meetings with Alstom teams in Italy and worldwide.
  • Apply processes, methods, and tools in accordance with Alstom standards.
  • Support the deployment of system Generic Application versus Specific Application project teams.
  • Carry out design testing of the system until its delivery to the Verification and Validation team.
  • Support laboratory tests and on-site activities.
  • Contribute to improving the sustainable and innovative transportation standard of the future.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in telecommunications, electronics, or mobility.
  • Graduate or 2 years' experience.
  • Goal-oriented, problem-solving, team working approach.
  • Flexibility and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Basics of networks and communication protocols.
  • English (minimum B2).
  • Interest in continuous learning, improving technical and behavioral skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience and background in railway, metro signaling business or in a complex and regulatory asset environment (railway, aerospace, defense) would be a plus.

Bologna, Rome, or Bari site.
