Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Innovation Manager to join our Sustainable Innovation Department in Milan, Italy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead innovative initiatives and drive advancements in materials science and technology
  • Identify, launch, manage, and monitor innovative projects with suppliers, start-ups, and business functions
  • Analyze and scout innovative opportunities, materials, and technologies
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure project goals and deadlines are met
  • Research and compare new materials, solutions, and processing technologies to improve knowledge and material library

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering or Management Engineering or relevant scientific background
  • At least 8 years of experience in R&D and project management in structured companies or consulting firms
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain management in textile industry, printing, and dyehouse
  • Technical knowledge of textile chemical engineering and processes and/or materials science
