Job Description:

In Eni, we are looking for a Junior Cloud Solution Architect to join our Digital Information Technology (DIT) team. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for providing support to the design and implementation of the company's Data Platform, leveraging established patterns and innovative approaches.

About the Role:

You will work in an inter-functional team of excellence, developing new and more effective technological tools to respond to the challenging requests of the energy production and business evolution, increasingly driven by data.

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will:

  • Preside over the design and development of solutions to support business processes;
  • Ensure the definition and design of cloud-oriented solutions that are scalable and resilient, adapting to business needs and in line with the company's digital transformation roadmap;
  • Develop and evolve solutions that integrate cloud and on-premise architectures;
  • Guarantee the evolution of competence platforms, with a particular focus on resource optimization, cost management, monitoring, and performance, in collaboration with other technical units and business representatives;
  • Adopt agile and DevOps methodologies in the design and implementation phases;
  • Ensure, in collaboration with competent functions, the adoption of best practices within the company.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics;
  • Up to three years of experience in software design and development;
  • Experience in modeling, representation, and description of identified solutions (UML, BPMN, Archi,...);
  • Knowledge of main architectural paradigms and integration (Cloud, Microservices, Event-Driven, API, Message queuing, Service mesh,...);
  • Experience in using cloud platforms (PaaS, LaaS, SaaS) and managing applications according to the DevOps model;
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
