About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Training Lead to join our team at Hitachi Energy Italy S.P.A. in Europe. As a key member of our Engineering organization, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering training initiatives that enhance the skills and competence of our engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our Engineering Teams across Europe to identify skills gaps and develop targeted training programs.
  • Design and implement effective recruiting and onboarding programs to ensure new colleagues are properly equipped to succeed.
  • Maintain our skills matrix and organize certification programs to further develop our engineering capabilities.
  • Collaborate with experts to produce high-quality training material and deliver training sessions.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor our learning and development process and initiate improvement initiatives as needed.
Requirements
  • MSc in Engineering with 8-10 years of experience in an Engineering function, preferably in Transformers.
  • Proven experience in people development, international experience, and strong intercultural sensitivity.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
