**Job Summary**

The Material Supply Legal Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the Material Supply Management Function and procurement projects teams in the application of correct methodologies for the management of passive contracts with Vendors. This includes analyzing and drafting necessary documentation to support the Material Supply Management Function and procurement projects teams in the management of claims, responses to claims, Liquidated Damages's, Major Back Charges, and other disputes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist in drafting documentation to support the Material Supply Management Function and procurement projects teams in the definition, preparation, and administration of legal and contractual aspects of main correspondences to Vendors.
  • Support Projects team members and the Material Supply Management Managers/Engineers in drafting claims and responses to claims submitted to/by Vendors, in terms of legal/contractual basis, when required.
  • Analyze claims and related responses, also drafting their relevant sections, when required, for further control by the Material Supply Legal Manager.
  • Prepare templates for claims and related responses to be shared with the Function.
  • Assist the Material Supply Management Responsible in monitoring the implementation of activities and good practices within the organization aimed to develop and finalize the documentation required for the claims preparation and administration.

**Requirements**

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal and contractual aspects of procurement and supply chain management. They will be able to analyze complex information, identify key issues, and develop effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as the candidate will be working closely with various stakeholders, including Projects team members, Material Supply Management Managers/Engineers, and Vendors.
